I think you hit the nail right on the head, while it definitely must hit home to read critical and sometimes even hurtful comments, it’s also and indicator that your blog has gotten to the point where people are actively engaging in your content. I think it’s to be expected that a small percentage of your audience just might not jive with your content, and that’s totally okay.

I read every single post you shared and am intrigued by the first two and their experiences with negative or critical comments. In a way, I’m thinking, “You know you’ve made it when you receive critical comments,” which while that sounds weird or negative, is sort of true.
